We rushed into town to visit our grandfather last minute and found this hidden gem! It’s private, clean, and extremely homey and beautiful. The decor is absolutely breathtaking in my opinion. I really appreciated all the instructions that were provided, especially the very helpful hint to download the offline maps. You definitely need it!!! The hosts left you alone but made show for you know to they were just a text or email away. I wish we could’ve stayed at the home to explore the land more. Almost Heaven is an understatement.

Our family had a wonderfully relaxing week at the cabin. It is in perfect condition with comfortable beds and a beautiful kitchen. We loved using the cookstove and the solar power worked perfectly. Our hosts were welcoming and got back to us quickly with any questions we had. We stayed when there weren't leaves on the trees yet, which allowed us to have beautiful views of the mountains, valleys and stars. Randolph county is one of the most beautiful places in the state and when you stay at this cabin, you are nearly in our favorite place, Kumbrabow State Forest. I highly recommend a stay in Star View Lodge.

We so much enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable furniture and beds. Had plenty of room. The fire ring on the river was wonderful as was the hot tub. Would love to visit again sometime and would definitely recommend this place to others.

I would highly recommend if you are staying in the area for Helvetia or Pickens. We didn’t get to use the hot tub but will definitely try next time. Had a great girls weekend stay and the Maple Syrup Festival was awesome this year. Recommend The Hutte’ and Hinterzimmer in Helvetia to eat!

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Helvetia. It is a very quiet and peaceful place, right on the river, and perfect if you want to relax and disconnect from busy city life. The sound of the river was a constant and calming presence throughout the stay and added to the overall sense of tranquility.
The bedding and mattress were excellent. The level of comfort was exceptional and comparable to, or better than, what you would expect at many five-star hotels. This stood out during our stay.
Communication with the host was quick and easy. Every question we had was answered promptly, which made the stay stress-free.
The outdoor jacuzzi was a unique feature, particularly with the TV and the river setting. It provided a calm and comfortable way to end the day.
Overall, this is a beautiful, comfortable place in a great natural setting. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

By FAR the most CLEAN Airbnb we’ve ever stayed!!! Truly the most enjoyable stay!
Accurately described; turn by turn directions & heads up on distance from grocery stores, etc was very helpful info.
Look forward to booking again & making this a new annual tradition!

We had an amazing stay! Place was just as described and the scenery was beautiful! We met up with family and celebrated Christmas together and it was a great time! The hot tub was so nice to warm up, relax and watch some tv! We had plenty of room to open gifts, play games and spend quality time together! Check in and check out were a breeze! We even got greeted by a playful pup which our toddler was ecstatic over! We visited Swiss Roots, ate lunch at The Hinterzimmer, did a wine tasting at Heavenly Heritage Winery and explored Helvetia and Pickens! We met lots of friendly locals who gave us a tour and got to learn a lot about the history of the area! No issues at all with the starlink internet either! It worked fast and held up to all of our devices! Definitely would recommend staying here, and would stay here ourselves in the future as well!

Amy‘s place was hands-down one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed at. Clean comfortable and very comfortable. The cherry on the top is the hot tub with TV out by the river. Amy was very easily to communicate with. This was the perfect place for a long getaway weekend. And we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Will definitely go back and recommend this to anyone.
